NuLife Care & Counselling Services proudly celebrated its 23rd year of service with the 3rd Annual Charity Fundraising Dinner, held on November 8, 2025, at the prestigious Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. Set against a glamorous “Red Carpet” theme, the evening brought together 300 guests, including distinguished donors, beneficiaries, Board members, staff, volunteers, and other esteemed supporters, in a memorable celebration of community and compassion.
The evening’s programme was nothing short of spectacular. Guests were captivated by a thrilling live and silent auction, followed by an exciting lucky draw featuring three coveted prizes generously sponsored by Mr Sinniah Karupaiah, including the grand prize of an iPhone 17 Pro Max. The atmosphere soared as beloved duo Jack & Rai delivered a vibrant performance that had the audience buzzing with energy.
A powerful series of videos brought NuLife’s mission to life, spotlighting the generosity of corporate partners QBE and TP ICAP, paying tribute to longstanding donor Mr Mohamed Abdul Jaleel, and sharing deeply moving client stories of legal aid facilitation and crisis intervention. These heartfelt narratives underscored the profound impact of NuLife’s work in the community.
Throughout the evening, a dynamic fundraising leaderboard kept guests engaged and inspired, as contributions climbed in real time. The growing numbers reflected not just financial support, but the collective spirit of compassion and generosity that defined the night.
n her heartfelt address, CEO Sheena Jebal honoured the contributions of past Board Members, expressed deep appreciation for current Board members and donors, and highlighted the diverse beneficiaries NuLife continues to serve. Fundraising Chairperson Ms Reeta Sabnani also delivered an inspiring speech, warmly acknowledging VIP guests and encouraging donors to continue championing NuLife’s mission.
Special thanks go to Mr William Lee, who emceed the evening and conducted the live auction, DJs Mr Kamal and Mr Chandan Mahtani for energising the dance floor, and Shalom Concepts for their stage management and AV expertise.
